The Bali tourist tax, officially known as the Bali Tourism Levy, is a one-time fee of 150,000 IDR (approximately $10 USD) per person for all international visitors entering Bali. This fee is intended to fund initiatives that preserve Bali’s natural environment, culture, and infrastructure. It can be paid online before arrival or at the airport upon arrival, this is in addition to the Tourist Visa Payment
For a tourist visa to Bali most nationalities can obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at Denpasar International Airport. This allows for a 30-day stay and can be extended once for another 30 days. If you need to stay longer or for other purposes than tourism, you may need to apply for a different type of visa, such as the 211A visa.
